Triumeq 50/600/300mg Tablets are a combination antiretroviral medication used to treat Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV-1) infection. Each tablet contains three active substances: Dolutegravir (50 mg), Abacavir (600 mg), and Lamivudine (300 mg).

Triumeq is used to control HIV-1 infection in adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older who weigh at least 40 kg. It helps to reduce the viral load, maintain a healthy immune system, and decrease the risk of HIV-related complications.
Dosage:
The recommended dosage for adults and adolescents weighing at least 40 kg is one tablet taken once daily, with or without food. It is important to follow your doctor’s instructions and not to miss doses to ensure the effectiveness of the treatment.
Warning
- Before starting Triumeq, screening for the HLA-B*5701 allele should be performed. Abacavir should not be used in patients known to carry this allele due to the risk of severe allergic reactions.
- Triumeq may cause liver problems, including hepatitis and lactic acidosis. Seek medical attention if you experience symptoms such as severe abdominal pain, jaundice, or dark urine.
- Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, as Triumeq may affect the baby. It is also important to discuss breastfeeding with your doctor.
