Co-Aprovel 300mg/12.5mg Tablets are a prescription medication specifically designed to treat high blood pressure. These tablets contain two active substances: irbesartan, which is an angiotensin II receptor antagonist, and hydrochlorothiazide, which is a thiazide diuretic. If you are allergic to irbesartan, hydrochlorothiazide, or any of the components, do not use Co-Aprovel. It is not suitable for patients with severe kidney issues, anuria, or sensitivity to sulfonamide drugs. Avoid Co-Aprovel during pregnancy, as it can harm the fetus. Stop taking it immediately if you are pregnant. Breastfeeding while on Co-Aprovel is not recommended, as it can harm the baby. Regularly monitor kidney function and discontinue the medication if it declines significantly. Check electrolyte levels regularly, especially in patients at risk for imbalances. Patients with a history of angioedema from ACE inhibitors should be closely monitored.
