For uncomplicated UTIs, the recommended dosage is 250-500mg orally every 12 hours for 3 days. For respiratory tract infections, the dosage is 500-750mg orally every 12 hours for 7-14 days. For skin and soft tissue infections, the dosage is 500-750mg orally every 12 hours for 7-14 days. For bone and joint infections, the dosage is 500-750mg orally every 12 hours for 4-6 weeks. For infectious diarrhea, the dosage is 500mg orally every 12 hours for 5-7 days. It is important to note that dosage adjustments may be necessary for patients with renal impairment.
