Budecort Respules 0.5mg/2ml are used to treat asthma in both children and adults. They can be taken to:

Prevent asthma attacks or
Manage severe asthma exacerbations.

The recommended dosage for adults and children over 12 years old is usually 1 to 2 mg per day. This can be taken as 0.5 mg twice a day or 1 mg once a day in the evening.
The dosage for children between 6 months and 12 years old is typically 0.5 mg to 1 mg per day. This can be taken as 0.25 mg twice a day or 0.5 mg once a day in the evening.
