Warning
Patients who have a hypersensitivity to artemether, lumefantrine, or any of the excipients should avoid using Coartesiane Susp. Exercise caution in patients with congenital QT interval prolongation, electrolyte imbalances, or those on medications that prolong the QT interval. Do not combine with other drugs that can prolong the QT interval or strong CYP3A4 inhibitors. Not recommended for severe malaria or malaria caused by Plasmodium vivax, Plasmodium ovale, or Plasmodium malariae. Consult a healthcare provider before use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. Possible side effects include headache, dizziness, gastrointestinal disturbances (nausea, vomiting, diarrhea), and fatigue. Seek medical help if severe side effects or signs of an allergic reaction occur. Remember to shake well before use and measure the dose accurately with a dosing syringe or measuring cup. Avoid using a household spoon.
