Suggested Use
Relvar Ellipta is indicated for:
- Asthma: For adults and children aged 12 years and older whose asthma is not adequately controlled with other medications.
- COPD: To relieve symptoms in adults with a history of exacerbations despite regular treatment.
Dosage:
- The recommended dosage is one inhalation daily, taken at the same time each day.
Relvar Ellipta should not be used for immediate relief of acute breathing problems; a separate quick-acting reliever inhaler should be used for sudden attacks.
Warning
- Not for immediate relief: Relvar Ellipta is not designed for sudden breathing problems.
- Possible Side Effects: Headaches, throat irritation, hoarseness, coughing, and fungal infections (thrush) in the mouth or throat.
- Serious Side Effects: Worsening breathing problems, allergic reactions, heart-related issues, and bone thinning (osteoporosis).
- Consult Your Doctor: If you have heart problems, high blood pressure, seizures, thyroid problems, diabetes, liver problems, weak bones, immune system problems, or eye problems.
