Maxflow Capsule 0.4 mg contains tamsulosin hydrochloride, an alpha-1 adrenergic receptor blocker. It is used to improve urinary flow and alleviate symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) in men by relaxing the muscles in the prostate and bladder neck.

Suggested Use
Maxflow Capsule is indicated for:
- The treatment of lower urinary tract symptoms (LUTS) due to benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), such as:
- Difficulty starting urination
- Weak urine flow
- Frequent urination, especially at night
- Improving urine flow and relieving bladder obstruction.
Dosage:
Adults (Men):
- The recommended dose is one capsule (0.4 mg) once daily.
- It should be taken approximately 30 minutes after the same meal each day to improve absorption.
- Swallow the capsule whole; do not crush or chew it.
Note: The dosage may be adjusted by a healthcare provider based on the patient’s response to treatment.
Warning
- Do not use if allergic to tamsulosin or any of its excipients.
- Tamsulosin may cause dizziness or fainting, especially when standing up quickly. Patients should rise slowly from sitting or lying positions.
- Inform your doctor if you are undergoing cataract or glaucoma surgery, as tamsulosin may increase the risk of complications.
- Use with caution or under specialist supervision in patients with significant renal or hepatic dysfunction.
- Not indicated for use in women.
- Tamsulosin may cause dizziness; avoid driving or operating machinery until you know how it affects you.
- Common: Dizziness, headache, fatigue, ejaculatory disorders, nasal congestion.
- Rare: Skin rash, itching, angioedema, or severe allergic reactions.
