Suggested Use
Glenza 40mg Capsules are used for:
- Treating prostate cancer in men who have undergone surgery or hormone therapy to lower testosterone levels.
- Managing prostate cancer that no longer responds to other treatments but has not spread to other parts of the body.
- Treating metastatic prostate cancer that has spread to other parts of the body.
Dosage
- The usual dose is 160mg (four 40mg capsules) taken once daily.
- The capsules can be taken with or without food.
It is important to take the medication at the same time each day and follow your doctor’s instructions regarding the dosage and duration of treatment.
Warning
- Do not use Glenza 40mg Capsules if you are allergic to enzalutamide or any other ingredients in the capsule.
- This medication is not intended for use by women or children.
- Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures, head injury, stroke, brain tumour, heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, or high cholesterol.
- Possible side effects include headache, hot flashes, weakness, high blood pressure, fatigue, decreased appetite, constipation, dry skin, itching, falls, and fractures. If you experience severe side effects, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
