Ebastel 10mg Tablets, a second-generation antihistamine are used to manage allergic conditions. These tablets are non-drowsy and effective in relieving symptoms of seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis, as well as chronic urticaria. Each tablet is formulated to provide relief from sneezing, nasal congestion, runny nose, and skin itching. Active Substance: Ebastine 10mg.

Suggested Use
Ebastel 10mg Tablets are used for the treatment of:
- Allergic rhinitis (seasonal and perennial)
- Chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives)
- Other allergic conditions.
Dosage:
- Adults and children over 12 years: The usual recommended dose is 10 mg once daily. In severe cases, the dose may be increased to 20 mg once daily.
- Children aged 6-11 years: Not recommended for children under 12 years; an oral solution is preferred for this age group.
- Administration: Ebastel can be taken with or without food. Swallow the tablet whole with water; do not crush or chew it.
Warning
- Avoid if you are allergic to Ebastine or any of the ingredients in the formulation.
- Use with caution in patients with severe hepatic impairment.
- Contraindicated in patients with cardiac arrhythmia.
- Avoid use during pregnancy and breastfeeding unless advised by a healthcare professional.
- Certain drugs, such as ketoconazole, itraconazole, erythromycin, and rifampicin, may interact with Ebastine.
- Not recommended for children under 12 years; an oral solution is preferred for this age group.
Side Effects:
Common side effects include headache, dry mouth, and drowsiness. Less common side effects may include abdominal pain, indigestion, and sinusitis. Rare but serious side effects include severe allergic reactions, liver problems, and heart palpitations.
