Domperidone 10mg Tablets help relieve nausea, vomiting, and bloating. They block the signals that cause nausea and vomiting from being sent to the brain and also speed up the movement of food through the stomach and intestines, which can help relieve nausea caused by slow stomach emptying. Active Substance: Domperidone: 10mg per tablet.

Suggested Use

Domperidone is used for:

  1. Treating nausea and vomiting, including when caused by migraine headaches.
  2. Preventing nausea and vomiting caused by certain medicines used to treat Parkinson’s disease, such as levodopa and pergolide.
  3. Relieving discomfort caused by a slow-moving stomach, known as gastroparesis.
  4. Increasing breast milk supply.
Dosage:

The usual dose for adults and adolescents (weighing at least 35 kg) is:

  • 10mg three times a day, taken 15-30 minutes before meals and at bedtime.

Warning

Before taking Domperidone, consult your doctor if you:

  • Have a tumour of the pituitary gland (prolactinoma).
  • Have a blockage or tear in your intestines.
  • Have black, tarry bowel motions (stools) or notice blood in your bowel motions.
  • Have moderate or severe liver disease.
  • Have a heart problem called prolonged QT corrected interval.
  • Are taking certain medicines, such as ketoconazole, erythromycin, or amiodarone.

Do not take Domperidone if you are allergic to Domperidone or any of the other ingredients.
