Sita-Met 50/500mg Tablets 14’s

Suggested Use

Sita-Met 50/500mg Tablets are used to:

1. Improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 diabetes.
2. Be used as an adjunct to diet and exercise to improve glycaemic control.
3. Be combined with other diabetes medications, such as sulphonylureas or thiazolidinediones, when single therapy is not sufficient.

Dosage:

• Initial Dosage: For patients inadequately controlled on Metformin alone, the usual starting dose is 50 mg Sitagliptin twice daily (100 mg total daily dose) plus the dose of Metformin already being taken.
• Maintenance Dosage: The dose should be individualized based on the patient’s current regimen, effectiveness, and tolerability. Administration: Take one tablet orally, with water, once daily, preferably at the same time each day. Take with meals to reduce the chance of an upset stomach.
