OnSetron-Denk 8mg Tabs are orodispersible tablets that help stop and treat nausea and vomiting. They dissolve fast in the mouth without needing water, which makes them easy for patients to use. The active ingredient is ondansetron (8 mg per tablet).
Nausea and Vomiting
Suggested Use
On Setron-Denk 8mg Tabs are used for:
- Prevention and treatment of nausea and vomiting induced by chemotherapy and radiotherapy.
- Prevention of nausea and vomiting after surgery.
Dosage:
For adults:
- Before chemotherapy or radiation: Take 8 mg (one tablet) 1 to 2 hours before treatment.
- Post-treatment: Take 8 mg (one tablet) every 12 hours for up to 5 days.
- For highly emetogenic chemotherapy, a single dose of up to 24 mg ondansetron (three tablets) may be used with 12 mg dexamethasone.
Warning
- Consult your doctor if you are taking other medications, especially apomorphine (for Parkinson’s disease), carbamazepine, or phenytoin, as interactions may occur.
- It is not recommended for children under 18 years for the prevention of post-surgery nausea and vomiting.
- Pregnancy and breast-feeding: Consult your doctor before use.
