Montallerg CT Tablet 5mg is a chewable tablet that manages asthma symptoms and treats allergic rhinitis by blocking leukotrienes, which cause inflammation and airway constriction. It effectively reduces the frequency and severity of asthma attacks and alleviates symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, and nasal congestion from seasonal and perennial allergies. Active Ingredient: Montelukast Sodium (equivalent to Montelukast 5mg).
Anti-Asthmatics
Suggested Use
- Asthma:
- Prevention and long-term management of mild to moderate asthma.
- Reduces exercise-induced bronchospasm.
- Allergic Rhinitis:
- Relief from seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis symptoms, including sneezing, nasal congestion, and runny nose.
- Exercise-Induced Bronchoconstriction:
- Prevents breathing difficulties triggered by physical activity.
Dosage and Administration:
- For Asthma and Allergic Rhinitis:
- Adults and children aged 6-14 years: 1 tablet (5mg) once daily in the evening.
- The tablet can be chewed and does not require water.
- Exercise-Induced Bronchoconstriction:
- 1 tablet at least 2 hours before exercise, not exceeding 1 dose in 24 hours.
Note: Dosage may vary based on individual needs and physician recommendations.
Warning
- Allergic Reactions: Avoid use in individuals allergic to Montelukast or any excipients in the formulation.
- Acute Asthma Attacks:
- Montallerg CT is not suitable for the treatment of sudden asthma attacks. Use a rescue inhaler as directed by a doctor.
- Neuropsychiatric Effects:
- Rare cases of mood changes, anxiety, depression, or suicidal thoughts have been reported. Discontinue use and seek medical attention if these symptoms occur.
- Liver Function:
- Use cautiously in patients with a history of liver impairment.
- Pregnancy and Breastfeeding:
- Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or lactation.

- Store in a cool, dry place below 30°C.
