Ilube 5% Eye Drops 10ml function as a substitute for natural tears. They are used to relieve dryness in the eyes due to insufficient tear production. These drops help make tears less sticky and keep the eyes lubricated, providing comfort. The active substance is Acetylcysteine (5% w/v).

Suggested Use
Ilube 5% Eye Drops are used for:
- Dry Eye Conditions: Relief for dry eyes associated with a lack of tears or abnormal tear production.
- Ocular Surface Inflammatory Conditions: Helps to break down excessive mucin associated with these conditions.
Dosage:
- Adults: The recommended dose is 1 or 2 drops into the affected eye 3 or 4 times daily or as advised by your doctor.
- Administration: Wash your hands before use. Remove contact lenses before application and wait at least 15 minutes before reinserting them.
Warning
- Do not use if you are allergic to acetylcysteine or any of the other ingredients.
- Contains benzalkonium chloride, which can discolour soft contact lenses. Remove lenses before use and wait 15 minutes before reinserting.
- Possible side effects include eye irritation, discomfort, increased redness, or blurred vision. If these occur and persist, stop using the drops and consult your doctor.
- This product should not be used on children.
- Consult your doctor before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
