Coveram 10mg/5mg combines two active substances to manage hypertension (high blood pressure) and stable coronary heart disease in patients who are already stabilized on separate doses of these medications. Active Substances: Perindopril Arginine: 10 mg and Amlodipine Besilate: 5 mg.

Suggested Use
Coveram 10mg/5mg is indicated for:
- Treatment of hypertension (high blood pressure).
- Management of stable angina or vasospastic angina.
- Prevention of cardiovascular complications in patients at high risk due to high blood pressure or other conditions.
Dosage and Administration:
- The usual recommended dose is one tablet daily, preferably in the morning before breakfast.
- Swallow the tablet whole with a glass of water.
- Dosage may be adjusted based on the patient’s clinical response and tolerance.
Warning
- Coveram should not be used in patients with a history of hypersensitivity to either perindopril or amlodipine, those with severe renal impairment, or pregnant women due to potential risks to the fetus.
- Patients with mild to moderate hepatic impairment should use Coveram cautiously, starting at lower doses.
- Inform healthcare providers about all medications being taken, as Coveram may interact with potassium supplements, diuretics, and NSAIDs. Grapefruit juice should also be avoided.
