Antibiotic Ointment
Suggested Use
Fucidin 2% Ointment is indicated for:
- Bacterial skin infections, such as impetigo
- Infected wounds, cuts, and abrasions
- Secondary infections in skin conditions (e.g., eczema or dermatitis)
Dosage: Adults and Children: Apply a thin layer of Fucidin 2% Ointment to the affected area 2 to 3 times daily, or as directed by a healthcare professional. Continue using the ointment for the recommended duration or until symptoms resolve, typically no longer than 10 days without medical advice.
Warning
- Do not use if you are allergic to fusidic acid or any other components of the ointment.
- Avoid Contact with Eyes and Mucous Membranes: In case of accidental contact, rinse thoroughly with water.
- Avoid prolonged use to prevent the development of antibiotic resistance.
