Co-Arinate FDC is a medication containing a fixed combination of antimalarial drugs for use in adults. This formulation is specifically formulated to effectively combat malaria within a 48-hour timeframe. The active ingredients include Artesunate (200 mg), Sulfamethoxypyrazine (500 mg), and Pyrimethamine (25 mg).

Suggested Use
The treatment dosage is based on the patient’s weight. It consists of taking 4 mg of Artesunate per kilogram of body weight along with Sulfamethoxypyrazine and Pyrimethamine.
The treatment involves taking three doses over 48 hours: the first dose is taken right after malaria diagnosis, the second dose is taken 24 hours later, and the third dose is taken another 24 hours after the second one. It’s important to wait 24 hours between doses.
To prevent a recurrence, it’s crucial to finish the entire treatment. If you vomit within 30 minutes of taking the tablet, take the full dose again. If you vomit within an hour, take half of the dose again.
