Candesartan tablets help manage high blood pressure. They contain Candesartan Cilexetil, which relaxes blood vessels and reduces blood pressure.

Suggested Use
Candesartan Tablets are used to treat high blood pressure in adults and children aged 6 to 18. Adults usually start with 8 to 16 milligrams (mg) once a day, which can be increased to a maximum of 32 mg per day if needed. Children aged 6 to 18 take 2 to 4 mg once a day, depending on their weight.
Warning
- Avoid using Candesartan Tablets during pregnancy to protect the unborn baby. Discontinue if pregnant and consult a healthcare professional.
- Patients with severe kidney disease may need dosage adjustments.
- Monitor blood pressure regularly, especially in patients with low salt levels or taking diuretics. Watch for increased potassium levels in patients with renal impairment or diabetes.
- Use caution in patients with moderate to severe liver impairment.
- Be aware of potential interactions with other medications.
