Losec 20mg Mups Tablets are used to treat various conditions related to excessive stomach acid production, including:

1. Gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), where acid from the stomach escapes into the oesophagus causing pain, inflammation, and heartburn.
2. Ulcers in the upper part of the intestine (duodenal ulcer) or stomach (gastric ulcer).
3. Ulcers caused by Helicobacter pylori infection, often treated in combination with antibiotics.
4. Ulcers caused by non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs)
5. Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, a condition where the stomach produces too much acid due to a growth in the pancreas

Dosage:

The typical dosage for Losec 20mg Mups Tablets is one tablet taken once a day, preferably in the morning. The tablets should be swallowed whole with water and not crushed or chewed. The duration of treatment varies depending on the condition being treated:
