Suggested Use
Seretide Evohaler is indicated for:
- The regular treatment of asthma in adults, adolescents, and children aged 4 years and older.
- Patients who are not adequately controlled on inhaled corticosteroids and ‘as needed’ short-acting beta2-agonists.
- Patients already adequately controlled on both inhaled corticosteroids and long-acting beta2-agonists
Dosage:
The recommended dosage for adults and children over 12 years is typically 1 to 2 actuations twice daily, depending on the severity of the condition. For children aged 4 to 12 years, the dosage may vary based on individual needs and should be determined by a healthcare professional. It is crucial to follow the prescribed regimen and not exceed the recommended dose.
Warning
- Do not use it if you are allergic to salmeterol, fluticasone propionate, or any other ingredients.
- Medical Conditions: Inform your doctor if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid problems, or a history of tuberculosis.
- Side Effects: Possible side effects include throat irritation, hoarseness, and oral candidiasis (thrush). Rinsing your mouth after each use can help prevent these.
- Interactions: Inform your doctor about any other medications you are taking, as Seretide Evohaler may interact with other drugs.
