Suggested Use
Glucowell 50mg Tablets:
- Improve glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
- Can be used alone or in combination with other antidiabetic medications when diet and exercise alone are not sufficient.
Dosage
- The usual dose is one 50mg tablet taken once daily, preferably with a meal to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort.
The dosage may be adjusted based on your response and blood sugar levels. Always follow your healthcare provider’s instructions and do not exceed the prescribed dose.
Warning
- Do not use Glucowell 50mg Tablets if you are allergic to vildagliptin or any other ingredients in the tablet.
- This medication is not intended for the treatment of type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
- Inform your doctor if you have any kidney problems, as this medication may need to be adjusted or discontinued.
- Possible side effects include headache, dizziness, gastrointestinal issues such as nausea and diarrhoea, and hypoglycemia (low blood sugar), especially when combined with other antidiabetic medications. If you experience severe side effects, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
