Dafraclav 625mg Tablets combine amoxicillin and clavulanic acid, creating a potent broad-spectrum antibiotic. This formulation effectively treats bacterial infections by inhibiting growth and reducing resistance risk, often used for respiratory, urinary tract, and skin infections when amoxicillin alone is insufficient. Active Ingredients: Amoxicillin (500 mg) and Clavulanic Acid (125 mg).

Dafraclav 625mg is used to treat various bacterial infections, including:

  1. Respiratory tract infections (e.g., sinusitis, bronchitis, pneumonia)
  2. Skin and soft tissue infections
  3. Urinary tract infections
  4. Dental infections
  5. Bone and joint infections

 

Adults and children over 40 kg: Typically, one 625 mg tablet every 8 hours. Dosage may vary based on the severity of the infection. Usually administered for 5-10 days. Complete the full course as prescribed by a healthcare provider, even if symptoms improve early.

Warning

  • Avoid if allergic to penicillins or cephalosporins. Seek immediate help if signs of an allergic reaction occur, such as rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing.
  • Use with caution in patients with liver or kidney impairment; dosage adjustments may be required.
  • Consult a doctor before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
  • Common side effects include nausea, diarrhoea, and mild skin reactions. Rarely, it can cause liver toxicity, severe allergic reactions, or blood disorders.
