Cipro-Denk 500mg is indicated for the treatment of:
- Respiratory tract infections
- Urinary tract infections (UTIs)
- Ear and sinus infections
- Infections of the gastrointestinal tract
- Skin and soft tissue infections
- Bone and joint infections
- Genital organ infections in both males and females
- Prevention of infections in patients with low white blood cell counts (neutropenia)
- Post-exposure prophylaxis for inhalation anthrax
Dosage:
The typical dosage for Cipro-Denk 500mg is:
- For adults: 500mg taken twice daily. The duration of treatment may vary from 5 to 21 days depending on the severity and type of infection.
- It is recommended to swallow the tablets whole with plenty of fluids and to avoid dairy products or calcium-fortified juices around the time of taking the medication, as they can interfere with absorption.
