Bricanyl Turbohaler is a dry powder inhaler that helps with asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). It contains terbutaline sulfate, a bronchodilator that eases symptoms like wheezing, trouble breathing, and chest tightness. This medicine relaxes the muscles in the airways and improves airflow to the lungs. The active substance in Bricanyl Turbohaler is terbutaline sulfate, with a dosage of 500 micrograms per delivered dose.

Suggested Use
Bricanyl Turbohaler is used to relieve and prevent bronchospasm in asthma patients. It can also treat bronchospasm in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
For adults and children over 12 years old, the usual dose is one inhalation (500 micrograms) as needed. If necessary, another inhalation can be taken after a few minutes. The maximum recommended dose is six inhalations (3000 micrograms) within 24 hours. For children aged 6-12 years, the usual dose is one inhalation (500 micrograms) as needed. The maximum recommended dose is four inhalations (2000 micrograms) within 24 hours. Children under 6 years old should not use Bricanyl Turbohaler.
Warning
- Do not use Bricanyl Turbohaler if you are allergic to terbutaline sulfate or any of the other ingredients.
- Consult your doctor before using if you have heart disease, high blood pressure, diabetes, thyroid problems, or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Do not exceed the prescribed dose as it can reduce effectiveness and increase side effects. Common side effects include tremors, headaches, palpitations, and muscle cramps.
- Seek immediate medical attention for severe side effects or signs of an allergic reaction.
- Store at room temperature, away from moisture and sunlight. Keep the cap closed when not in use.
