Glentel CT 40mg Tablets are used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension). They contain two active ingredients: telmisartan (40mg), an angiotensin II receptor blocker (ARB), and chlorthalidone (12.5mg), a diuretic. Together, they relax blood vessels and reduce fluid retention, improving blood flow and lowering blood pressure.

Glentel CT 40mg Tablets are used for:
- Managing hypertension (high blood pressure)
- Reducing the risk of cardiovascular events such as stroke and heart attack in patients with high blood pressure
Dosage
- The usual dose is one tablet taken once daily, with or without food.
- It is important to take the medication at the same time each day.
Follow your doctor’s instructions regarding the dosage and duration of treatment.
Warning
- Do not use Glentel CT 40mg Tablets if you are allergic to telmisartan, chlorthalidone, or any other ingredients in the tablet.
- This medication is not intended for use during pregnancy. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant.
- Inform your doctor if you have any kidney or liver problems, as this medication may need to be adjusted or discontinued.
- Possible side effects include dizziness, headache, nausea, and frequent urination. If you experience severe side effects, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
