Logimax 5/50mg Tablets combine felodipine and metoprolol to effectively manage high blood pressure. As a calcium channel blocker and beta-blocker, it lowers blood pressure and reduces heart complications. Felodipine (5mg) and Metoprolol (50mg).

Suggested Use
Logimax is used to treat:
- Hypertension: High blood pressure.
- Angina Pectoris: Chest pain caused by reduced blood flow to the heart.
- Cardiac Arrhythmias: Especially supraventricular tachyarrhythmias.
- Hyperthyroidism: As an adjunct treatment.
- Acute Myocardial Infarction: Early intervention to reduce infarct size and incidence of ventricular fibrillation.
The dosage will be personalized by the healthcare provider based on the specific condition being treated.
Warning
- Stop taking Logimax and seek medical help if you experience swelling of the face, tongue, or throat, difficulty swallowing, hives, or difficulty breathing.
- Logimax can cause significant hypotension, which may result in tachycardia and myocardial ischemia in susceptible patients.
- Bronchial Asthma: Adequate bronchodilator therapy must be given concomitantly.
- Logimax may affect carbohydrate metabolism or mask hypoglycemia.
- Use with caution in patients with latent or manifest cardiac insufficiency, AV-conduction disturbances, or severe acute states of metabolic acidosis.
- Inform the anaesthetist if you are undergoing surgery while on Logimax.
