Glysit 10mg Tablets are used by adults with type 2 diabetes to help control their blood sugar. The active ingredient, dapagliflozin, assists the kidneys in eliminating extra glucose from the bloodstream through urine. This not only helps lower blood sugar but can also reduce the risk of being hospitalized for heart failure

Suggested Use

Glysit 10mg Tablets are used for:

  1. Improving glycemic control in adults with type 2 diabetes mellitus.
  2. Reducing the risk of hospitalization for heart failure in adults with type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease.

 

  • The recommended dose is one 10mg tablet taken once daily, preferably in the morning. You can take it with or without food.
  • It’s important to follow your doctor’s instructions regarding the dosage and duration of treatment.

Warning

  • Do not use Glysit 10mg Tablets if you are allergic to dapagliflozin or any other ingredients in the tablet.
  • This medication is not intended for the treatment of type 1 diabetes or diabetic ketoacidosis.
  • Inform your doctor if you have any kidney problems, as this medication may need to be adjusted or discontinued.
  • Possible side effects include urinary tract infections, increased urination, and genital infections. If you experience severe side effects, contact your healthcare provider immediately.
