Evorel Conti Patch is a hormone replacement therapy (HRT) patch that alleviates menopause symptoms by delivering a steady dose of estrogen and progestogen through the skin. It helps manage hot flashes, night sweats, mood swings, and vaginal dryness by stabilizing hormone levels. The active ingredients include Estradiol Hemihydrate (3.2 mg, about 50 micrograms daily) and Norethisterone Acetate (11.2 mg, around 170 micrograms daily).

Evorel Conti is prescribed primarily for:
- Menopausal Symptom Relief: It addresses symptoms like hot flashes, sleep disturbances, mood swings, and vaginal dryness.
- Prevention of Osteoporosis: For women at high risk of fractures due to low bone mass who cannot use other osteoporosis medications.
Dosage:
- Apply one patch to the skin twice weekly (every three to four days).
- The patch should be applied to clean, dry, and hairless skin on the lower abdomen or buttocks. Avoid the waist area, as clothing friction may affect adhesion.
- Usage Cycle: Continuous use without breaks. Change patches on the same days each week to maintain hormone levels.
Warning
- Not suitable for women with a history of breast cancer, endometrial cancer, unexplained vaginal bleeding, untreated endometrial hyperplasia, blood clotting disorders, or active liver disease.
- Should not be used by pregnant or breastfeeding women.
- HRT may increase the risk of blood clots, stroke, and heart disease. Women with a history of these conditions should consult their doctor.
- HRT may slightly increase the risk of breast cancer and endometrial cancer, especially with long-term use.
- Regular medical check-ups, including breast exams and screenings, are advised.
