Suggested Use
Euvax B Paed is primarily used for:
- Immunization: Protecting against hepatitis B virus infections in neonates, infants, and children up to 15 years of age.
- Prevention: Particularly recommended for individuals at high risk of exposure to the virus.
Dosage:
- Recommended Dose: One pediatric dose of 0.5 ml.
- Administration Route: Intramuscular injection into the anterolateral aspect of the thigh for infants or into the deltoid muscle for children.
- Immunization Schedule:
- 1st dose: At elected date
- 2nd dose: 1 month after the first dose
- 3rd dose: 6 months after the first dose

- Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to any component of the vaccine, including aluminum hydroxide or thiomersal (if present).
- Severe allergic reaction to a previous dose of Hepatitis B vaccine.
- Precautions:
- Delayed vaccination in case of moderate or severe acute illness (e.g., fever).
- Administer with caution in individuals with thrombocytopenia or bleeding disorders.
