Caduet 5mg/10mg tablets contain two active ingredients: amlodipine besylate (5mg) and atorvastatin calcium (10mg) in one tablet. This medication is prescribed to treat high blood pressure and reduce cholesterol levels in the blood.

Suggested Use
Caduet is prescribed to:
- Treat hypertension,
- Lower high levels of total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, and triglycerides in patients with hypercholesterolemia, and
- Increase HDL cholesterol in patients with primary hypercholesterolemia or mixed dyslipidemia.
The treating physician determines the dosage regimen. It can be taken with or without food.
Warning
- Do not use it during pregnancy or breastfeeding as it may harm the baby.
- Monitor liver function tests before and during treatment with atorvastatin.
- Report any muscle pain or weakness to your healthcare provider.
- Consult with a healthcare provider before starting or stopping any medications due to potential interactions with Caduet.
