Augmentin 1gm Tablets is a broad-spectrum antibiotic combining two active substances to combat infections that might be resistant to amoxicillin alone. Effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, it’s a versatile option for treating common bacterial infections. Active Substances: Amoxicillin: 875 mg and Clavulanic Acid 125 mg per tablet.

Augmentin 1gm Tablets are prescribed for the treatment of bacterial infections, including:
- Respiratory tract infections (e.g., bronchitis, pneumonia).
- Ear, nose, and throat infections (e.g., sinusitis, otitis media).
- Skin and soft tissue infections (e.g., cellulitis, animal bites).
- Urinary tract infections.
- Bone and joint infections (e.g., osteomyelitis).
Dosage:
- Adults and Children Over 12 Years: One tablet every 12 hours (twice daily).
- Duration: Typically prescribed for 5–14 days, depending on the severity and type of infection.
- Administration: Take the tablet with food to reduce gastrointestinal discomfort. Swallow whole with a glass of water; do not crush or chew.

Warning
