Ascard Tablets are primarily used for:
- Cardiovascular Protection: Prevention of blood clot formation to reduce the risk of myocardial infarction (heart attack) and ischemic stroke.
- Secondary Prevention: Managing patients with a history of cardiovascular events such as heart attacks, strokes, or angina.
- Antiplatelet Therapy: Used in individuals at risk of developing blood clots, particularly those with coronary artery disease, peripheral arterial disease, or following procedures like angioplasty or bypass surgery.
Dosage
- Adults: One tablet (75 mg) once daily, preferably taken at the same time each day.
- Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew.
