Suggested Use
Lmw Enox is used for:
- Prevention of venous thromboembolism (VTE), particularly in patients undergoing surgeries such as orthopaedic or abdominal procedures.
- Treatment of deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).
- Prevention of clot formation in patients with unstable angina or non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction (NSTEMI).
- As an adjunct in the management of acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI).

Warning
- Contraindications:
- Hypersensitivity to enoxaparin or other heparins.
- Active major bleeding or conditions with a high risk of uncontrolled bleeding.
- History of heparin-induced thrombocytopenia (HIT).
- Use with caution in:
- Patients with renal impairment, as this increases the risk of bleeding.
- Elderly patients due to increased susceptibility to bleeding complications.
