Inform your doctor of all medications you are taking, especially anticoagulants, other NSAIDs, corticosteroids, and certain antidepressants, as these can interact with aspirin. Stop using at least 5-7 days before any surgery to reduce the risk of excessive bleeding, unless advised otherwise by your doctor. Possible side effects include gastrointestinal discomfort, nausea, heartburn, and increased bleeding tendency.
