Cardisprin Tablets 75mg are low-dose aspirin tablets that help prevent blood clot formation, thereby reducing the risk of heart attack and stroke. Each tablet is enteric-coated to minimize stomach irritation, ensuring effective and tolerable use. Active Substances: Aspirin (Acetylsalicylic Acid) – 75 mg per tablet.

Cardisprin Tablets 75mg are primarily used for:
- Prevention of cardiovascular events: Helps reduce the risk of heart attack, stroke, and other conditions caused by blood clots.
- Secondary prevention: In patients with a history of cardiovascular conditions like myocardial infarction or ischemic stroke.
Dosage:
Adults:
- Recommended dose: One tablet (75mg) daily, preferably taken with or after food to reduce gastric irritation.
- Swallow the tablet whole with water. Do not crush or chew the tablet.
Children:
- Not recommended for use in children under 16 years, except under strict medical supervision (e.g., for Kawasaki disease).
Warning
- Avoid use in patients allergic to aspirin or other nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs).
- Increased risk of bleeding, including gastrointestinal bleeding. Use with caution in patients with a history of ulcers or bleeding disorders.
- Aspirin may trigger bronchospasm in patients with asthma or a history of aspirin-sensitive asthma.
- Avoid during pregnancy, particularly in the third trimester, as it may harm the fetus. Consult a doctor before use in breastfeeding.
- Caution when used with anticoagulants (e.g., warfarin), antiplatelets (e.g., clopidogrel), or other NSAIDs, as this may increase the risk of bleeding.
- Avoid excessive alcohol consumption as it may increase the risk of gastrointestinal side effects.
- Do not use in children or teenagers with viral infections due to the risk of Reye’s syndrome.
