Amlo Denk 10mg Tablets 50’s treats high blood pressure (hypertension) and angina (chest pain). It works by relaxing the blood vessels so blood can flow more easily, reducing the heart’s workload. Active Substance: Amlodipine 10mg per tablet.

Suggested Use
Amlo Denk 10mg Tablets are used to treat:
- High blood pressure (hypertension): Helps lower blood pressure by relaxing blood vessels.
- Angina (chest pain): Increases blood supply to the heart, reducing chest pain.
- Coronary artery disease: Reduces the effects of damage in the heart blood vessels.
Dosage:
- Adults: The usual starting dose is 5 mg once daily, which may be increased to a maximum of 10 mg daily based on the patient’s response.
- Elderly: Normal dosage regimens are recommended, but dose increases should be done with care.
- Children (6-17 years): Recommended dose is 2.5 mg once daily, up-titrated to 5 mg once daily if blood pressure goal is not achieved after 4 weeks.
- Special Populations: Dose adjustments may be needed for patients with liver disease or severe aortic stenosis.
Warning
- Hypotension: Use with caution in patients with severe hypotension or those at risk of low blood pressure.
- Heart Conditions: Monitor patients with heart failure or severe aortic stenosis.
- Liver Function: Dosage adjustment may be necessary for patients with hepatic impairment.
- Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Use only if clearly needed, under medical supervision.
- Driving and Machinery Use: May cause dizziness or fatigue; avoid tasks requiring alertness if affected.
- Allergic Reactions: Discontinue immediately if signs of hypersensitivity (rash, swelling, or difficulty breathing) occur.
- Common Side Effects: Headache, dizziness, fatigue, swelling (oedema), and flushing. Rare: Palpitations, gastrointestinal upset, or allergic reactions.
