Engerex B 1 Dose Adult Up is a vaccine for hepatitis B that protects against all known subtypes of the virus. It is for adults and helps prevent serious liver infections that can lead to chronic disease and liver cancer. The vaccine contains recombinant hepatitis B surface antigen (HBsAg) produced in yeast cells, which triggers the immune system to produce antibodies against HBV.
