Alerid Syrup is an effective antihistamine that provides relief from allergic symptoms. It is suitable for children and adults who require relief from seasonal allergies, chronic urticaria, or other allergic conditions. Active Substance: Cetirizine Hydrochloride, 5 mg/5 ml.

Suggested Use
Alerid Syrup is indicated for the treatment of:
- Allergic rhinitis (both seasonal and perennial)
- Sneezing, runny nose, and nasal congestion
- Itchy, watery, or red eyes
- Chronic idiopathic urticaria (hives)
- Skin allergies accompanied by itching and swelling
Dosage:
Adults and children 12 years and older:
- 10 ml (2 teaspoons) once daily or 5 ml (1 teaspoon) twice daily.
Children 6 to 12 years:
- 5 ml (1 teaspoon) twice daily or as directed by a physician.
Children 2 to 6 years:
- 2.5 ml (½ teaspoon) twice daily.
Note: Always use the provided measuring spoon or cup for accurate dosing.
Warning
- Avoid use if allergic to cetirizine or any other ingredients in the formulation.
- While cetirizine has a low sedative effect, drowsiness may occur in some individuals. Avoid operating machinery or driving if affected.
- Avoid alcohol consumption as it may enhance sedative effects.
- Consult a doctor if you have liver or kidney impairment, as dosage adjustment may be required.
- Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Use only if prescribed by a healthcare provider. Cetirizine can pass into breast milk.
- Inform your doctor about other medications you are taking, especially sedatives or muscle relaxants.
Storage Instructions:
- Store at a temperature not exceeding 30 °C.
- Keep out of reach of children.
- Protect from direct sunlight.
