ActivHeal® Foam Adhesive

is a versatile, two-layer wound dressing designed for moderate to heavily exuding wounds. It consists of a polyurethane absorbent foam pad and a polyurethane membrane. The foam pad effectively absorbs wound exudate vertically, preventing maceration and maintaining a moist wound environment conducive to healing. The polyurethane membrane acts as a waterproof and bacterial barrier, allowing for the transpiration of exudate to enhance fluid handling capacity. The dressing features a pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive border, ensuring it stays securely in place while conforming to the body’s contours, reducing the risk of rucking or catching on clothing.
