Roxiclot 10mg Tablets are oral anticoagulants used to prevent and treat blood clots, commonly prescribed to reduce the risk of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with non-valvular atrial fibrillation and to manage deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).Active Substances: Rivaroxaban 10mg per tablet.

Suggested Use
Roxiclot is primarily used for:
- Treatment and prevention of venous thromboembolism (VTE), which includes conditions like deep vein thrombosis (DVT) and pulmonary embolism (PE).
- Reduction of the risk of stroke and systemic embolism in patients with nonvalvular atrial fibrillation.
- Prevention of blood clots in patients undergoing hip or knee replacement surgery.
- Management of coronary artery disease in combination with aspirin to lower the risk of serious cardiovascular events.
Dosage:
The typical dosage for adults is:
- Initial dose: 15 mg twice daily for the first three weeks, followed by 20 mg once daily.
- Post-surgery prevention: 10 mg once daily for at least 12 days after knee replacement or 35 days after hip replacement.
- Dosages may vary based on individual patient factors such as weight and renal function.
Warning
- Rivaroxaban increases the risk of bleeding, which can be serious or fatal. Patients should be monitored closely for signs of bleeding.
- Use caution in patients with impaired renal function; dosage adjustments may be necessary.
- Not recommended for patients with severe liver disease.
- Consult a healthcare provider before use during pregnancy or breastfeeding.
- Rivaroxaban may interact with other medications, including anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, and certain antibiotics. Always inform your healthcare provider about all medications you are taking.
