Olfen 100mg SR 10’s is a prolonged-release capsule containing Diclofenac Sodium. It is a non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug (NSAID) used to relieve pain and inflammation. Active Substances: Diclofenac Sodium (100mg per capsule)

Suggested Use
Olfen 100mg SR 10’s is used for the management of:
- Rheumatoid arthritis
- Osteoarthritis
- Ankylosing spondylitis
- Post-operative pain (following orthopedic and dental surgeries)
- Acute gout attacks
- Painful menstrual periods (dysmenorrhea)
- Migraine headaches
- Soft tissue injuries (sprains, strains, tendonitis)
Dosage:
- Adults: The usual dose is 100-150 mg per day, taken as one 100 mg capsule or two 75 mg capsules. For long-term treatment, a lower dose of 75-100 mg per day may be sufficient.
- Primary Dysmenorrhea: The dose is 50-150 mg per day, adjusted individually.
- Administration: Take the capsule with food or milk to avoid stomach discomfort. Swallow the capsule whole with water; do not chew or crush it.
Warning
- Pregnancy: Not recommended during the last trimester.
- Gastrointestinal Issues: May cause stomach ulcers, bleeding, or perforation. Use with caution if you have a history of gastrointestinal problems.
- Cardiovascular Risks: Increased risk of heart attack or stroke, especially with long-term use.
- Kidney Function: Use with caution if you have kidney problems.
- Alcohol: Avoid or limit alcohol intake as it can increase the risk of gastrointestinal bleeding.
- Allergies: Do not use if you are allergic to NSAIDs or have had allergic reactions to similar medications.
