Suggested Use
Itoprid 50mg Tablets are indicated for:
- Treatment of functional dyspepsia (non-ulcer dyspepsia).
- Management of gastrointestinal symptoms such as:
- Bloating
- Early satiety
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Improving gastrointestinal motility in patients with delayed gastric emptying.
Dosage
Adults:
- The recommended dose is 50mg, taken three times daily before meals.
- The duration of treatment depends on the severity of symptoms and the patient’s response.
Warning
- Do not use it if you are allergic to itopride or any other ingredients in the tablet.
- Avoid use if you have a blockage, perforation, or bleeding in the stomach or intestines.
- Consult a healthcare provider before use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
- Common side effects include diarrhoea, headache, abdominal pain, dizziness, and gynecomastia (growth of breast tissue in males).
- It may cause dizziness; do not drive or operate machinery until you know how it affects you.
- Avoid alcohol as it can worsen dizziness and sleepiness.
