Suggested Use
Flexilor SR 16mg is indicated for:
- Managing pain and inflammation associated with osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, and other chronic joint conditions.
- Relief of moderate pain in conditions such as lower back pain, post-operative pain, and muscle strains.
Adults: Take one tablet (16mg) once daily, preferably with food to reduce stomach discomfort. The elderly and those with renal impairment may require dosage adjustments; consult a healthcare provider for guidance.
Warning
- Like other NSAIDs, Lornoxicam can increase the risk of gastrointestinal issues, including ulcers and bleeding. Avoid use in individuals with a history of peptic ulcer disease.
- NSAIDs may elevate the risk of heart attack or stroke, especially with prolonged use or in high doses.
- Use with caution in patients with renal or hepatic impairment, as NSAIDs can impact kidney and liver function.
- Do not take Flexilor SR if you have a known allergy to Lornoxicam or other NSAIDs.
- This medication should not be used in pregnancy, especially in the third trimester, or while breastfeeding unless specifically recommended by a healthcare provider.
- Avoid using other NSAIDs or anticoagulants with Flexilor SR to prevent adverse reactions.
