Denk-Air 10mg tablets are used to treat asthma and seasonal allergies. They contain montelukast, which is a leukotriene receptor blocker. This helps to lower inflammation and tightness in the airways, allowing for easier breathing.

Suggested Use
Denk-Air 10mg tablets are used in the:
- Management and prevention of asthma symptoms, including daytime and nighttime symptoms
- Prevention of exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (EIB)
- Relief from symptoms of seasonal or perennial allergic rhinitis, including nasal congestion, runny nose, and sneezing
Dosage:
- Adults and adolescents (15 years and older): 1 tablet (10mg) once daily in the evening, with or without food.
- For asthma prevention: Take daily as directed by a healthcare professional.
- For exercise-induced bronchoconstriction: Take at least 2 hours before physical activity.
Note: Do not take an additional dose within 24 hours of a previous dose if taken for asthma or EIB.
Warning
- Denk Air 10mg is not intended for relief of sudden asthma attacks. Always carry a fast-acting inhaler for emergencies.
- Discontinue use and seek medical attention if you experience signs of an allergic reaction (rash, swelling, difficulty breathing).
- Rare cases of mood changes, agitation, or hallucinations have been reported. Inform your doctor if you have a history of mental health conditions or notice unusual changes in mood or behaviour.
- Use only if prescribed by a healthcare provider after assessing potential risks.
- Let your doctor know if you are taking other medications, especially phenobarbital, rifampicin, or other CYP enzyme inducers, which may affect Montelukast levels.
