Coveram 10mg/10mg Tablets is used to manage high blood pressure (hypertension) and coronary artery disease (CAD). The combination provides reciprocal effects, ensuring effective blood pressure control and protection against cardiovascular complications. Active Substances: Perindopril Arginine 10mg and Amlodipine Besylate 10mg  per tablet.

Suggested Use

Coveram is prescribed for:

  1. Hypertension (High Blood Pressure): Helps achieve and maintain target blood pressure levels.
  2. Stable Coronary Artery Disease: Reduces the risk of cardiovascular events such as heart attacks and strokes.
Dosage:
  • Recommended Dose: Take one tablet orally once a day.
  • Timing: Preferably in the morning before breakfast.
  • Administration: Swallow the tablet whole with a full glass of water. Do not crush or chew it.

Warning

  • Do not use Coveram if you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant. ACE inhibitors like perindopril can harm your unborn baby.
  • Avoid taking Coveram while breastfeeding. Amlodipine can pass into breast milk and may affect your baby.
  •  Be cautious about potential drug interactions, especially with lithium and potassium supplements.
  • Common side effects include dizziness, headache, and swelling of the ankles or feet. Seek immediate medical attention if you experience severe dizziness, fainting, or yellowing of the skin or eyes.
