Suggested Use
Celcoxx 200mg Capsules are used to treat:
- Osteoarthritis: Relieves symptoms such as inflammation, swelling, stiffness, and joint pain.
- Rheumatoid Arthritis: Reduces pain and inflammation associated with rheumatoid arthritis.
- Ankylosing Spondylitis: Treats pain and stiffness in the spine.
- Menstrual Cramps (Dysmenorrhea): Alleviates pain associated with menstrual periods.
- Acute Pain: Provides relief from acute pain conditions.
Dosage:
The recommended dosage for Celcoxx 200mg Capsules is:
- Osteoarthritis: 200mg per day, either as a single dose or divided into two doses of 100mg each.
- Rheumatoid Arthritis: 200mg per day, divided into two doses of 100mg each.
- Ankylosing Spondylitis: 200mg per day, either as a single dose or divided into two doses of 100mg each.
- Menstrual Cramps: 200mg as needed, up to twice daily.
- Acute Pain: 200mg as needed, up to twice daily.
Warning
- Prolonged use may increase the risk of heart attack or stroke. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is advised.
- Risk of gastrointestinal bleeding or ulcers; patients with a history of stomach ulcers should consult their doctor before use.
- Patients with kidney or liver issues should use this medication cautiously and under medical supervision.
- Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding without consulting a healthcare provider due to potential risks to the fetus or infant
- Avoid alcohol while taking this medication as it may enhance side effects like dizziness and gastrointestinal issues.
- Common side effects may include abdominal pain, diarrhea, indigestion, flatulence, peripheral edema, dizziness, and upper respiratory tract infections. If side effects persist or worsen, medical advice should be sought.
