Canespor Solution, an antifungal topical solution, effectively treats fungal infections of the skin and nails. The solution penetrates deep into the affected area, providing targeted action against dermatophytes, yeasts, molds, and other fungal pathogens. Its liquid formulation allows for easy application to hard-to-reach areas, ensuring optimal coverage and efficacy. Active Substances: Bifonazole – 1% (10 mg/g)
Anti-Fungals
Suggested Use
Canespor Solution is used to treat:
- Fungal skin infections: Athlete’s foot (tinea pedis), ringworm (tinea corporis), jock itch (tinea cruris), and candidiasis.
- Fungal nail infections: Onychomycosis, particularly in the early stages or as part of a combination therapy.
- Pityriasis versicolor: A superficial yeast infection causing discoloured patches on the skin.
Dosage and Administration:
- Skin Infections:
- Apply a thin layer of the solution once daily to the affected area.
- Gently rub in and allow the solution to dry.
- Use for at least 2–4 weeks, depending on the infection type and severity.
- Nail Infections:
- Apply the solution to the affected nail(s) once daily.
- Continue treatment for several weeks or as directed by a healthcare provider.
Note: Consistency is key to successful treatment. Complete the full course even if symptoms improve early.
Warning
- Avoid use if allergic to bifonazole or any of the excipients. Discontinue use if redness, itching, or swelling occurs.
- Do not ingest or apply to mucous membranes (e.g., eyes, mouth, or genitals).
- Pregnancy and Breastfeeding: Consult a healthcare provider before use, especially in the first trimester.
- Avoid Occlusive Dressing: Allow the affected area to breathe for effective healing.
- Use with caution in children under 12 years; consult a doctor.
- Avoid using other topical antifungal or antibacterial agents simultaneously on the same area unless prescribed.
Storage:
- Store below 25 °C in a dry place, away from direct sunlight.
- Keep out of reach of children.
