Candid V1 Vaginal Pessaries is an antifungal primarily used to treat vaginal candidiasis (commonly known as vaginal thrush). The pessary provides a single-dose treatment, offering quick relief from symptoms such as itching, irritation, and discharge. Active Substances: Clotrimazole 500 mg per pessary.

Suggested Use
Candid V1 Vaginal Pessaries are indicated for:
- Treatment of vaginal candidiasis, characterized by symptoms such as:
- Vaginal itching
- Burning sensation
- Pain or discomfort during urination
- Abnormal vaginal discharge
- Pain during sexual intercourse
Dosage:
- Adult Women: Insert one pessary (500 mg) deep into the vagina, preferably at bedtime, to allow the medication to work overnight.
- Instructions for Use:
- Wash hands thoroughly before use.
- Remove the pessary from the packaging.
- Lie on your back with your knees bent and legs apart.
- Insert the pessary as far as is comfortable into the vagina using your finger or the applicator provided.
- Wash hands again after inserting the pessary.
Warning
- Do not use if:
- You are allergic to clotrimazole or any other ingredients in the pessary.
- You are pregnant or breastfeeding without consulting a doctor.
- Consult your doctor if:
- Symptoms persist after using the pessary.
- You experience abdominal pain, fever, or foul-smelling discharge.
- This is your first episode of vaginal thrush.
- Avoid sexual intercourse while using the pessary, as it may reduce the effectiveness of latex condoms or diaphragms.
- Side Effects:
- Mild irritation or burning sensation in the vaginal area.
- Rarely, allergic reactions such as rash or swelling.
