Candid Ear Drops are primarily used for:
- Treating fungal infections of the ear (otomycosis).
- Providing relief from ear pain associated with these infections.
- Preventive treatment for individuals prone to ear infections, such as swimmers.
Dosage:
- Adults and Children:
Instil 2-3 drops into the affected ear(s) 2-3 times daily, or as directed by a healthcare provider.
- Application Instructions:
- Tilt the head to one side or lie down with the affected ear facing up.
- Gently pull the earlobe to open the ear canal.
- Administer the prescribed number of drops.
- Remain in the same position for a few minutes to allow the medication to penetrate.
- Avoid touching the dropper to the ear or any surface to prevent contamination.
Warning
- Contraindications: Avoid use if there is a known hypersensitivity to any of the components.
- Use with caution if there is a perforation of the eardrum, as this may lead to complications.
