Avsar Plus is a medication that combines valsartan, amlodipine, and hydrochlorothiazide to treat high blood pressure. It works by blocking angiotensin II receptors, dilating blood vessels, and preventing salt absorption. Avsar Plus is available 160/5/12.5 mg, 160/5/25 mg, 160/10/12.5 mg, 160/10/25 mg, 320/5/12.5 mg, 320/5/25 mg, 320/10/12.5 mg, and 320/10/25 mg combinations.

Avsar Plus is used to treat high blood pressure. It is especially helpful for patients whose blood pressure is not well controlled with one or two medications.
The usual starting dose is one tablet per day. The dose can be changed based on how the patient responds and their overall health. It is important not to take more than the recommended dose without talking to a healthcare provider.
Older patients may need dose adjustments based on their kidney function and overall health. Patients with kidney or liver problems may also need dose adjustments. It is best to consult with a healthcare professional for specific recommendations.
Warning
- Do not use Avsar Plus if you have allergies to certain ingredients or if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Talk to your healthcare provider about other options.
- Be cautious if you have severe liver problems.
- Monitor your blood pressure regularly if you have low fluid levels or are taking high doses of diuretics. Check potassium levels periodically if you have kidney problems.
- Use with caution if you have aortic stenosis.
- Watch for swelling in the limbs if taking amlodipine. Monitor electrolyte levels and kidney function regularly if taking hydrochlorothiazide.
- Inform your healthcare provider about all medications you are taking. Follow specific instructions from your healthcare provider.
