Avamys is indicated for the management of allergic rhinitis symptoms in individuals aged 6 years and above. These symptoms may include a blocked, runny, or itchy nose, sneezing, and watery, itchy, or red eyes. Allergy symptoms can be seasonal, triggered by pollen from grass or trees, or perennial, caused by allergies to animals, dust mites, or molds. The recommended dose for adults and adolescents aged 12 years and older is two sprays in each nostril once daily. Once symptoms are controlled, the dose can be reduced to one spray in each nostril for maintenance. For children aged 6 to 11 years, the recommended dose is one spray in each nostril daily. If needed, two sprays in each nostril may be used.
